Men's Ministry

SCRIPTURE SUPPORT: “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” Proverbs 27:17 (NIV)

PURPOSE: FCC Men’s Ministries strives to provide opportunities for men to share with other men and to participate in activities and groups that will assist them in their knowledge, faith, and growth in and through Jesus Christ as they serve Him and others.

PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES:

-Men’s Breakfasts (Monthly) - Men gather monthly at a variety of restaurants for a good start to their day, a good meal, and a good time of sharing and discussing things of interest to men in their daily lives, including growing in their relationship with Christ.
-Service Projects - Various opportunities exist for men to be of help to others within FCC and the community.
-Area Men’s Meeting - Men get together periodically on and off site with other men from a number of regional Christian churches for supper and a challenging speaker.
-Retired Men’s Bible Study - Open to all men, but a special invitation stands for those who have “retired.” They meet weekly to study God’s Word, share, and discuss mutual interests.
-Men Following Christ - is a monthly, 8:00 - 10:00 a.m., 4th-Saturday gathering of men throughout the area at the Grace College Alpha Dining Commons in Winona Lake. It begins with a delicious breakfast buffet . . . followed by sharing in song and a pre-planned testimony from one of the men . . . concluding with a special speaker to challenge all men in the Lord.
-Sunday School Class - Each Sunday after morning Worship, classes are available that offer learning and application opportunities for all adults. . . . men included.
-Iron Sharpens Iron Conference - This one-day, off-site conference is a highlight of FCC Men’s yearly calendar. It features world-class, nationally known keynote speakers, praise and worship, an array of workshops, and excellent resources specific for energizing and equipping men and to help them live for Christ and others in all areas of life.
